A Resilient...
Rina the Revered lived as if the war had never ended 300 years ago. Once prized as the best warrior, she continues to hone her skills to be ready for the next summons. However, that was not the only reason she was deemed as one of the Fae King's favorites. She's been guarding something very precious of his.
A Menace...
Tennyson the Feared is the most ruthless, bloodthirsty Fae to have ever walked the lands. He sacrificed a piece of himself when he entered a bargain with The Spellcaster. With his freedom looming in the air, there is only one thing he must do: retrieve the female he loathes.
A Destiny...
Being a delivery boy had never been on Tennyson's list. This work was beneath him, and to make matters worse, she was delaying his chance at freedom. Rina, however, enjoyed using her escort as a walking pincushion. She took every frustration out on Tennyson with her daggers, knowing he couldn't harm her. Traveling with one's sworn rival is never easy. Nor when vulnerabilities and truths slowly bleed out as the nights start becoming longer.
