Davey has spent his entire adult life keeping everyone at a distance, having an endless string of one-night stands just to avoid real intimacy. After watching the one person he truly loves find her person in a magical margarita, he has worked tirelessly to become emotionally available. But just like his best friend, he finds the dating scene to be a cesspool when attempting to find a forever person. He begs Athena, the owner of his bar (and coincidentally his local goddess) to bless him with his own magical cocktail. When he gets his wish and mixes up a lemon drop, he expects to fall in love with the man on the other side of the shaker, but when he meets his so-called "perfect match," he realizes he has made a critical error. Davey intends to walk away right then and there, but, unfortunately, his lover will not accept "no" for an answer.
