A man awakens in the middle of a freshly harvested cornfield. The debris of a crashed airliner
surrounds him, but there is not a scratch on him. Chaos reigns as first responders and emergency
personnel scurry about, frantically searching for survivors, but there are none, except for him, and he
can't remember a thing, not even his own name. He believes his name might be Sam something, so they
decide to call him Samuel.

An investigation into the cause of the crash soon reveals that a bomb brought the plane down.
Suspicion falls on Samuel when his fingerprints are discovered in the airplane's luggage compartment,
where the bomb exploded. Due to his total amnesia, Samuel is unable to account for his activities during
the tragedy. Yet at the same time, there is not enough evidence to charge him with a crime. Even so,
Samuel feels compelled to launch his own investigation to clear his name.

As Samuel labors to regain his identity, it becomes apparent that there is something odd about
his nature. He is physically gifted with superb coordination and amazing reflexes. He can operate a
smartphone, but he doesn't know how to drive a car. He can hold down a job, but he has no idea where he
came from, the kind of work he used to do, or if he has a family somewhere. In addition, as he pursues his
investigation, he finds he has very little experience interacting with other human beings and must learn
from scratch how to manage interpersonal relationships. To Samuel, it seems as if he is discovering his
humanity for the first time.

As Samuel relentlessly tracks down the perpetrator responsible for the deaths of 72 people, his
life is put in jeopardy. He is close to identifying the saboteur when an explosion caused by an intentional
gas leak restores his identity. Instantaneously, he remembers the shocking truth about who he is and where
he came from. Only one question remains. Is it too late for justice to be served?
