This book provides pertinent insights from COVID-19 researchers funded by the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF) and National Institutes of Health (NIH) which are highlighted in the NSF-funded COVID Information Commons (CIC). The CIC is a comprehensive portal with 14,000 coronavirus research grants and resources which have been leveraged by a collaborative community of over 10,000 individual researchers, professionals and students who share knowledge and insights to mitigate the broad impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. The research insights range from scientific to societal impacts of the coronavirus across the domains of biology, public health, human behavior, education and public mobility.
