Steve thought he found a story. Liliana and Leib found someone they wanted to keep.
In 2008, Steve Sebastian is a young journalist at the Douglasville Vanguard, still years away from the Associated Press. During lunch at the Spindle Spot Mall, he notices Liliana and Leib, a beautiful couple dressed for a red carpet instead of a suburban shopping mall.
Steve introduces himself, and the attraction is immediate.
Liliana and Leib tell him they are polyamorous, something Steve has never encountered before. What begins as an idea for an article soon leads to an invitation into their home and their private life. Steve tells himself he is only curious, but Liliana has a way of making curiosity feel like desire.
As professional boundaries disappear, Steve becomes part of a relationship he does not fully understand. Leib is watchful. Liliana is impossible to resist. Steve's curiosity prevents him from running as he falls for their hedonistic lifestyle.
