The Hebrew name for the Book of Exodus is Sefer Shemot, the 'Book of Names,' taken from the opening words of the first verse. Continuing from Sefer Bereishit, it transitions from Abraham's family's story to the birth of an entire nation, the Children of Israel. It recounts their brutal slavery, miraculous redemption, the giving of the Torah on Mount Sinai, and much, much more.
There's a tradition that the Final Redemption will be even more miraculous than the redemption from Egypt, so if you want a taste of what's to come, you have to read the Book of Exodus - and very carefully.
