Imagine a deck of cards whose figures look at you. Where the Main Man turns his back on the Main Woman, where one card gazes into the future and another toward the past, and where the mere direction of a face turns the whole meaning of a spread upside down. That deck exists. It's the Kipper - arguably the most vivid, narrative and unjustly overlooked oracle in all of cartomancy.
This book is the complete guide you've been missing.
THE KIPPER is an independent, detailed method for reading the 36 Kipper cards. A cousin of the Lenormand but far more grounded, the Kipper puts real people, places and situations on the table with striking realism. You don't decode abstract symbols here - you read a story, with its characters, its settings and its twists.
DIRECTIONALITY: THE SECRET OF THE KIPPER
This is what makes the deck unique. The figures have a gaze, an orientation: they turn toward a card or away from it, move forward or back, draw close or pull away. To the left, what is leaving; to the right, what is coming. Master this directionality and a flat interpretation becomes a living, precise, flowing narrative. This book makes it the heart of its method.
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN
- The history and spirit of the Kipper, and the deck's structure card by card

WHO IT'S FOR
For you who own a Kipper deck and search in vain for a serious guide. For you who read Lenormand or tarot and want to discover a more narrative, more direct system. For you who love vivid, character-rich, concrete readings. For you who want clear answers about relationships, people and how events unfold.
Take your deck, lay the cards - and let the characters tell you your story.
