There is a place between forgetting and remembering. Between the life you have been living and the one quietly asking you to return.
When Solenne awakens in the mysterious House at the Edge of Time, she remembers almost nothing, only an ache she cannot explain, a journal written in her own hand, and a handful of strange objects that seem to know more about her than she does.
As she moves through rooms shaped by memory, intuition, silence, and choice, she begins to encounter the selves she left behind: the caretaker, the peacemaker, the woman who learned to say yes when she meant no.
Each threshold asks something different of her. Each encounter brings her closer to a knowing she once trusted, then forgot.
But the deeper she travels, the less certain she becomes that she is meant to find a way out. Perhaps the House is not asking her to escape at all.
The Map Maker is a lyrical story of healing, intuition, and becoming whole. Blending an evocative fictional journey with intimate reflection, it explores what happens when we stop fighting the ache, listen to the wisdom within, reclaim our voice, and make room for a different kind of strength.
For anyone standing at a threshold, who has carried too much, gone quiet to keep the peace, or felt the pull toward something they cannot yet name, this is a story about remembering the way home.
Not all maps are drawn. Some are remembered.
