As Ethan and his skilled team of researchers and former military specialists - collectively known as ARC - make the long and arduous journey into the unforgiving jungle, they soon find themselves caught in a conspiracy that ends up testing Ethan's trust in the people closest to him, and whose purpose reaches back through history to a deadly Mayan mystery.
