This book is an attempt to compile the mythological narrative of the Siddhnath Temple at Vanwar. It is also a story of the conflict between Vaishnavism and Shaivism. Shiva is in battle with Asuras and fights against Shri Krishna. This symbolizes the un-Aryanization of Shiva. The story of giving sonship to the demon Banasur increased his popularity among the majority of the indigenous people.
