Over GBP800 million saw St Pancras restored and rebuilt for the modern day. Described now as the 'world's most wonderful railway station', St Pancras is a paragon of Gothic architecture. The St Pancras Renaissance London Hotel utilised large parts of the Midland Grand Hotel and opened in 2011, exactly 138 years after the original was opened.
